"I’ve always enjoyed smiling, but I was getting a bit self conscious. "I hated my smile and would hide it behind a big mustache.  I had periodontal disease and had to loose all my teeth.  Dr Zuidema and his staff helped me make the decision to have all my teeth pulled and get dentures. 

In the 8 months of going through getting my new smile, I lost 62 pounds, got rid of the ugly mustache and no longer have headaches.  Dr Zuidema determined that a newer procedure using a tensing unit might help set my new teeth and adjust my jaw so that the headaches may stay away.

"What can I say about Dr. Zuidema.  I came to him in the fall of 2004, with teeth that were in need of help.  I told him I wanted to be able to smile with confidence for my wedding in September 2005.  He took a long look at my teeth, put his hand to his chin, several times, thought some more, and then told me exactly what he wanted to do, and how long it would take.

So, at the young age of 37, I had a full set of braces put on for the first time in my life!  He pushed the limits of how quickly teeth can be corrected, but, kept his integrity as a dentist, and friend. We knew that it was going to be close getting the work finished in time for my wedding. I put my faith in him, never doubting the outcome, and two weeks before my wedding, the braces came off and I was able to smile, really smile, all day for my wedding.  He even went above and beyond, making a few small repairs in the front to complete his work.  Thanks to Dr. Zuidema."

"I never considered braces for myself for many different reasons.  I got used to hiding my smile.  When it was time for my daughter to have braces, we decided to do it together.  Dr Zuidema put my braces on and 10 months later I was done.  I was amazed at the result from just straightening my teeth.
